Teens getting help for suicidal behavior from an online community

Adolescents tend to be hard to reach when it comes to communicating their feelings. University of Alberta researcher, Elaine Greidanus, discovered many teens are seeking emotional support from an online community. Her research looked to see if these cyber groups have any impact and if this could possibly open new channels for helping suicidal teens.
