Ulcerative colitis remission rates from long-term safety study of LIALDA presented at DDW

Patients with UC treated with Remicade® (infliximab) had an approximate 50 percent reduction in mean number of hospitalizations per year compared with placebo, according to an analysis of long-term data from a Phase 3 clinical trial presented at the ACG meeting. Patients who responded and those who were in remission at one year had lower mean number of hospitalizations vs. non-responders through one year of treatment.
